We’re honored to welcome Chagdud Khadro to Rigdzin Ling — August 11–17
Chagdud Khadro met His Eminence Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche in 1978, becoming his wife and student in 1979. In 1997, he ordained her as a lama and named her his spiritual successor in Brazil. Since his Parinirvana in 2002, she has carried his legacy forward — offering teachings across the Americas, Europe, and Australia, overseeing the construction of a Zangdog Palri, and maintaining the integrity of rigorous Vajrayana training.
While at Rigdzin Ling, Khadro will join staff, sangha members, and volunteers in daily activity, pujas, and the ongoing beautification of the land, offering her wisdom as both a teacher and devoted student of Chagdud Rinpoche. We warmly invite you to take part in the following events:
Tuesday, August 12 at 4:00 PM (in-person and on Zoom)
Please join us for a special Red Tara tsok presided over by Chagdud Khadro, honoring the birthday of H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. The tsok will be held in person and streamed live via Zoom.
RSVP requested for inperson attendees - events@chagdudgonpa.org | Zoom streaming link here
Sunday, August 17 at 10:00 AM (note early start time)
Refreshments and coffee to follow
Chagdud Khadro was authorized to teach by Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and ordained as a lama in 1997. Her teachings reflect deep devotion, clarity, and warmth, making Vajrayana principles accessible and inspiring. We especially welcome those with a heart connection to Khadro to join us for this special public talk.
This event is free and open to the public | RSVP requested - events@chagdudgonpa.org | Zoom streaming link here
