Rigdzin Ling is honored to welcome Lama Tsering Everest for a special visit this July.

Lama Tsering served H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche as his personal translator for over 11 years. After completing a traditional three-year retreat in 1995, she was ordained as a lama and recognized by Rinpoche as a holder of the Red Tara lineage. She has since gone on to guide students around the world with warmth, clarity, and deep devotion to the Chagdud Gonpa lineage.

During her visit to Rigdzin Ling, Lama Tsering will join the sangha for daily pujas and tsok feasts, offering her presence and guidance within the natural flow of center life. In addition, she will give a public teaching on Monday, June 21.

Details about volunteer opportunities and registration requirements for this visit can be found below.

Experience Rigdzin Ling with Lama Tsering

Step into the heart of Dharma center life during Lama Tsering’s visit to Rigdzin Ling. This is a rare opportunity to live, practice, and serve alongside the Lama and sangha — not as a visitor, but as a working member of the team. Participation is limited to approved volunteers, and registration is required in advance.

Volunteers will actively support the daily operations of the center, contributing to essential tasks that keep Rigdzin Ling running smoothly while immersed in the rhythms of community and practice. Each morning and evening, join Chagdud Gonpa’s tradition of daily puja, including Red Tara and other profound practices from the Tromge, Dudjom, and Padgyal Lingpa lineages. As part of the visit, Lama Tsering will also offer a public teaching, which volunteers will be welcome to attend.

This gathering is intended for those wishing to engage in joyful, purposeful work while deepening their connection to the lineage through service, practice, and community life. If you’re interested in attending, please submit a registration request — space is limited and participation is subject to approval.
