Sundays
September 13, 20 & 27
11am - 2:30pm

For three Sundays in September, over a series of six teaching sessions, Lama Chökyi Nyima (Richard Barron) will present the practice of mental training (Tib. lojong), based on the commentary by Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Taye (1813–1900), in which the cultivation of ultimate and relative bodhicitta is discussed under seven topics. This practice enables one to develop bodhicihtta, the indispensable element for attaining enlightenment, in a systematic and effective way. Lama Chökyi will present the teachings in conjunction with practice periods to integrate them in our experience. During the course of the teaching, he will also offer the reading transmission of the original Tibetan text. People are encouraged to attend all sessions in order to assimilate these profound teachings as completely as possible.

This event will be both in-person and livestreamed on Zoom.

Suggested Donation of $50, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Note:
- Due to the nature of these teachings, attendance must be for consecutive days (Days 1–3, 1–2, or 1 only).
- If you would like to attend both online and in-person, please let us know.
- Meals will not be served, however there will be a short break with free tea and coffee.
